Terms and Conditions

Welcome to BuySAfrica Ireland ("the Site"). The following are the terms and conditions for use of and purchase of products from BuySAfrica Ireland ("the Company"). Use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms as amended.

General

Unless otherwise indicated, your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the Company replying to you by electronic mail for such purposes as the Company may consider appropriate. The Company does not accept any responsibility to the extent that the Site may be connected to any other sites or service, beyond it’s the control. It is the policy of BuySAfrica Ireland to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. To this end it is our policy that we do not exchange food, beverage or any other item that may come in contact with the person. Currency rates may vary and will be charged at exchange rate on the day that ordered is received. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company and reserves the right to deny access to the Site. BuySAfrica Ireland cannot be responsible for delays due to custom regulations outside the EU. BuySAfrica Ireland's registered business number is 299447. This site is provided through English only.

Delivery & Notification

Delivery shall be charged in accordance with destination chosen and price thereafter displayed which said price may be amended (after you place an order) but only to reflect a change in cost. Amendments to delivery details cannot be made after goods have been dispatched. For other lead times on gifts please see individual product details or visit our Delivery Details page. Please note BuySAfrica Ireland cannot be responsible for adverse weather conditions effecting delivery times.

Where orders are placed after notified last order date / time for guaranteed delivery the Company does not accept responsibility for late delivery. You are responsible for providing correct daytime delivery address, telephone number and postal code. The Company cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. Any shortfall of which you become aware must be notified to the Company within two days of receipt of goods. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 30 days of dispatch of goods. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch as soon as it arrives. All items are subject to availability. Once an order as been dispatched, no amendments can be made to your order.

Due to reasons beyond our control we are unable to deliver to the following countries:

Belarus, Brazil, Burma (Myanmar), Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chile, Colombia, Comoros, Cuba, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Falklands, Georgia, Guinea Bissau, India, Iran, Israel, Johnston Islands, Kiribati, Lebanon, Madeira, Morocco, Myanmar, Nauru, North Korea, Norway,  Pakistan, Philippines Romania, São Tomé and Príncipe, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Spanish Islands, St Helena Sierra, Leone, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda, Uruguay, Zimbabwe,

Payment

Payment must be made in full prior to us dispatching the goods.

Quotations

Quotations are given on the basis of costs at the time of issue. Prices may be amended at any time to reflect a change in cost structure, including any alteration to the rate of VAT or similar tax. If a product is not available then a product of equal or greater value will be substituted in its place.

Ownership Rights & Limitations

Goods are the property of the Company until such goods and all outstanding debts to the Company and/or its associate companies have been paid for in full. This Site, its contents together with any trade names used by the Company is protected by intellectual property rights and permission is only given for personal use. Any use beyond that permitted may constitute an infringement of owners' rights and may be prosecuted.

Limitation as to Damages

The Company shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit the Company shall be responsible for replacement costs of item only. The Company shall not, in any way, be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused.

Cancellations

Any amendments or cancellations to an order must be submitted in writing before the order has been processed.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your product, please note we can only refund (excluding delivery charge) or exchange a product if we receive it back to our warehouse within 7 days of receipt.

Returned product must be in its original packaging and in re-salable condition.

1. Please ensure product is returned in original packaging and resalable condition, as no refund or exchange will be authorised unless these conditions are met.
2. Where a product is faulty, it must be sent back in its original packaging. As soon as we receive the return, the product will be sent to the supplier for inspection. We will get a replacement product sent out without delay.
3. Please call 01 628-4424 with your Order Number (see address label on package for order number) and we will issue you with a “Returns Authorisation Code”. The Customer Service line is manned Monday-Friday 10am – 6.00pm. If calling from outside Ireland please dial +353 1 628-4424.
4. Include a note stating the reason for the product return, along with your name, address, daytime contact phone number, Order Number and your Returns Authorisation Code
5. Please ensure you keep a note of your RA number.
6. Then take your parcel to the post office for return using the returns address: BuySAfrica Ireland, 3a New Road Kilcock, Ireland. We recommend using registered post so a product can be tracked if necessary.
